Liverpool Football Club had an extraordinary 2022, winning two domestic trophies, reaching the Champions League final, and finishing the Premier League with an impressive 92 points. However, the 2022/23 season has been a challenge for a largely unchanged Liverpool squad. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been at the helm since 2015 and signed a contract that will keep him at the club until 2026. Klopp spent time managing Mainz and Borussia Dortmund, where he won consecutive Bundesliga titles and reached the Champions League final.

Liverpool’s Anfield stadium is one of the best-known in world football, with a current capacity of 53,394. The stadium is currently undergoing construction to expand its capacity to approximately 61,000. Anfield opened in 1884 and was initially home to Everton until 1892, when Liverpool FC was founded to utilize the vacant ground.

Liverpool Football Club has an illustrious history, including 18 First Division titles, four Second Division titles, eight FA Cup wins, nine EFL Cup wins, and six UEFA Champions League/European Cup wins, among other trophies.
