Arsenal Report: Gunners Plan to Clear Out Seven Stars in Summer Transfer Window

Reports suggest that Arsenal are planning to sell up to seven players in a summer clearout. While the Gunners are currently eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table, they are said to be looking to further bolster their squad next season as they prepare to return to the Champions League. However, before they can do so, they will need to raise some funds by clearing out some of their deadwood. According to The Sun, as many as seven players could be made available for transfer at the end of the season, including club-record signing Nicolas Pepe and loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Other players who could be moved on include Albert Sambi Lokonga, former Southampton defender Cedric Soares, Nuno Tavares, Pablo Mari and Alex Runarsson.

As Arsenal seeks to strengthen its squad in preparation for their return to the Champions League, they will first have to part ways with some players. According to reports, the Gunners are planning a summer clearout, which could see as many as seven players sold. Some of the players who could be on their way out include Nicolas Pepe, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and former Southampton defender Cedric Soares. By shedding these players, Arsenal hopes to raise the necessary funds to further bolster their squad and challenge for major trophies once more.
