Chris Sutton claims Brighton was ‘cheated’ in Tottenham clash, following heated and contentious game.

Tottenham’s victory over Brighton was marred by controversial incidents on and off the pitch. Spurs’ Son Heung-min found the mark for his 100th Premier League goal, with a winner from Harry Kane, but Brighton had two disallowed goals and one denied penalty. Both managers were sent off, and BBC pundit Chris Sutton declared that Brighton was “robbed.” The feisty exchanges began before kickoff, when managers Cristian Stellini and Roberto de Zerbi got into a heated argument. Despite the melee involving both benches, both coaches tried to play down the incidents after the match.
