Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in Portugal’s 6-0 victory over Luxembourg, increasing his goal tally for 2023. He helped his country in their campaign towards Euro 2024 after a thumping victory against Liechtenstein. The Al Nassr star scored their opener within nine minutes of the game and celebrated with his iconic Siuuu celebration. He then added his second celebration, the sleeping pose, to finish the manoeuvre. Ronaldo has rekindled his international form in Euro 2024 qualifying, netting four goals in his country’s first two qualification games for next year’s tournament, making Portugal look good to feature at Euro 2024. The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus forward has also made history by becoming the most capped player in international football history with his 197th Portugal appearance and the first player to score at least 100 competitive international goals.
