Denmark’s European Championship 2024 qualification campaign got off to the perfect start with victory over Finland.
A hat-trick from the ever-impressive Rasmus Hojlund ensured their Group H campaign got off to a winning start, with Kasper Hjulmand’s side likely to be among the fancied teams in Germany next summer.
Finland briefly threatened to stage what would have been considered a shock after Oliver Antman equalised after the break, but Denmark persisted and eventually got their just rewards with a goal around 10 minutes from the end.
Hojlund secured his hat-trick deep into added time.
