Eddie Howe rebuts Erik ten Hag’s assertion that Newcastle is an irritant prior to Manchester United confrontation.

Newcastle’s Boss Eddie Howe Responds to Erik Ten Hag’s Criticism of His Side’s Style

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag’s comments about Newcastle’s playing style being “annoying” has finally received a response from Magpies boss Eddie Howe. Ahead of their clash on Sunday, Howe said, “The game management stuff has been overblown massively towards us in the media. That’s just my opinion. The main part of the game is we have to play well.” Ten Hag’s mind games appear to have worked previously with United securing a 2-0 win in their Carabao Cup final. However, Newcastle is hoping to turn the tables and boost their chances of Champions League qualification with a win at home against United.
