Chelsea demands a staggering £70m for Mason Mount, their 24-year-old English midfielder. Despite being in his final contract year, the club is confident in Mount’s potential, which has attracted interest from Bayern Munich. The German champions are also near-deal for Chelsea’s assistant coach Anthony Barry. Meanwhile, Declan Rice is not a target for Bayern. Lionel Messi, PSG’s forward, is being offered the world’s highest salary by Al Hilal; however, Inter Miami is hopeful of signing him, along with Sergio Busquets, to their squad next season. Manchester United is focused on signing Tottenham’s Harry Kane for their striker position, but also considering Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus and Portugal’s Goncalo Ramos as options. Barcelona’s Gundogan may be courtside for the Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong to join Manchester United. In other news, West Ham is likely to bid farewell to David Moyes, while Leeds United is open to selling Rodrigo Moreno. AC Milan will have Olivier Giroud on board until 2024, as he signs a new deal.
