Gabriel Jesus Frustrated Over Lack of Playtime with Arsenal Since Injury
Arsenal player Gabriel Jesus recently expressed frustration about his limited minutes on the pitch since returning from injury last month. The Brazilian forward had been sidelined since the World Cup but made his comeback as a substitute in the Premier League leader’s victory over Fulham three weeks ago. However, Jesus did not get enough opportunities to play despite his performance in the Europa League last 16 tie with Sporting Lisbon and the 4-1 league victory over Crystal Palace. Although he scored a brace during the recent Arsenal-Leeds United match to keep the Gunners eight points clear of Manchester City in the title race, he was only allowed to play for 60 minutes before being substituted.
Jesus is looking forward to completing his first 90 minutes since his injury when Arsenal plays against Liverpool in their next game. According to him, while he respects his manager and teammates, he is ready to play more minutes and take on any challenge that comes his way. He said, “If God gives me this challenge, it’s because I can survive and come back stronger.”
