Man United Coach Erik ten Hag Pushing for Marcus Rashford and David de Gea to Show Loyalty.

Erik ten Hag eager to secure long-term deals for Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and David de Gea

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has expressed his desire to see forwards Marcus Rashford and goalkeeper David de Gea sign new deals with the club. This follows the recent agreement reached between the club and Luke Shaw, who would have been a free agent in 2024. While Rashford has a contract that runs for another 15 months, the uncertain nature of negotiations with De Gea leaves the Spanish keeper’s future uncertain.

Ten Hag revealed that keeping hold of both senior players is a priority for him and the club. There have been rumors of interest from Paris Saint-Germain in Rashford, but his performance this season has been impressive, and United would have no intention of letting him leave the club. Meanwhile, discussions concerning De Gea’s contract may require the club to reconsider its previous terms, specifically the £375,000-a-week salary.

With Shaw’s future now secured, Ten Hag hopes that Rashford and De Gea will also sign on the dotted line. While negotiations are ongoing, the manager is primarily focused on winning games and is confident that Rashford, who has scored 30 goals this season so far, will be fit for the upcoming match against Newcastle following a recent injury.
