Man United sought to loan Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, reveals his brother.

Manchester United attempted to sign Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on loan with an option to buy during the January transfer window, according to his brother Nordin. Amrabat, who impressed at the World Cup, received interest from three teams, including Barcelona, but Fiorentina rejected United’s proposal. Despite missing out on Amrabat, United signed Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich. The 26-year-old midfielder has just over a year left on his contract at Fiorentina and is expected to attract attention when the transfer window reopens. Amrabat previously played for Utrecht, Feyenoord, and Club Brugge before being loaned to Hellas Verona. Nordin, who previously played for Watford, revealed the news.
