Mercedes’ George Russell came in second, while seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton finished third. The Dutchman delivered a stunning 1:16.732 lap in the final moments of qualifying to edge out his rivals. Despite challenging conditions at Albert Park; including a cool and windy climate, Verstappen emerged victorious. The race promises to be an exciting one as Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin, Lance Stroll, Carlos Sainz, and Charles Leclerc eagerly chase the podium spots.
