Miami Draws Derby Match for Second Consecutive Year in U.S Open Cup Third Round

Miami Derby and Colorado Derby Highlight Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round Draw
The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup 3rd Round draw has produced some exciting matchups, including a Miami Derby between MLS club Inter Miami CF and USL Championship club Miami FC, as well as a Colorado Derby between MLS club Colorado Rapids and USL League One club North Colorado Hailstorm FC. The draw also welcomed 18 ‘lower-seeded’ clubs from MLS, with only five of them playing on the road due to the draw’s structure. Notably, there are no matchups between MLS teams this round. The matches will take place on April 25 or 26, and the dates and times are yet to be announced.
