Noel Gallagher spoke highly of John Stones, who has adapted well to a new midfield position. According to Gallagher, Stones “looks like the kind of player that these great European teams used to produce in the 80s like AC Milan that would cost you £200million to buy now.” Gallagher praised Stones’ brilliance and adaptability, and his outstanding performance was recognized with the Man of the Match award.

Another player who received Gallagher’s praises was Jack Grealish, who became the most expensive English player of all time when he joined Manchester City for £100m. Gallagher was impressed with how quickly Grealish has settled into the team, despite making his first ever move in football.
