Nottingham Forest appoints Ross Wilson as its chief football officer.

Nottingham Forest confirms appointment of Ross Wilson as new Chief Football Officer, following his departure from Rangers due to criticism of the club’s transfer market record. Wilson brings a wealth of experience from his time at Southampton, Huddersfield, Watford, and Falkirk, and is expected to have a more wide-ranging remit than his predecessor at Forest. Though Wilson and Robertson faced opposition from fans regarding Rangers’ poor signings, the team did win the Scottish title in 2021, and reached the Europa League final the following year. Forest is counting on Wilson to use his expertise in changing team dynamics and reviving their current situation in the English Premier League.
