We ordered this shelving unit for use as either a plant stand or at the holiday season to display a Christmas village. Delivery was prompt and all the parts were included, a total of 102 pieces comprising 5 different pieces – shelving, upright sticks, and plastic connectors. One extra piece was included for each of the 5 different pieces, along with a small rubber mallet and a pair of gloves (the instruction sheet states, âBe sure to use the gloves for installation, since the plant stand is carbonized at 300 degrees Centigrade, contact will cause your hand to turn black.â We did *not* use the gloves, and our hands did *not* turn black. Nice little touch by the manufacturer, though. The only tool you need is the included mallet. Our assembly was ultimately successful, although there were some difficulties along the way, due entirely to our not following the instructions provided. Hereâs our advice: FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, ESPECIALLY STEPS 1 AND 2. Do not attempt step 3 through 8 until youâve finished steps 1 and 2. The completed shelving unit is nice looking, stable enough, and we are entirely satisfied.

Love the size, material, and compactability. My plants are happy. I added an extra support on the top for the tall orchids. It’s stable and can handle much more weight than what I’d put on it.It’s easy to setup, but weat the attached gloves or you’ll have gray hands from the carbonization. The attached mallet is a great addition.Didn’t give 5 stars because one of the stands came damaged. Waiting for manufacturer to replace it.Update: seller’s customer service is to tier. Once we were able to communicate they replaced the bases. unfortunately my stand had too many bases where the wood was shooting at the knots. That’s something that happens naturally with wood. I’ll suggest coating the stand with polyurethane before setting it up to strengthen the wood. My stand was replaced and I’ll be coating it before placing my orchids on it.

So the plant stand arrived this morning and Iâm reviewing this afternoon. I found the assembly to be easy ! I was surprised, it came with a little hammer to secure everything. Maybe took me 15 min with all the pieces. I love the size of the stand. Definitely wear the gloves it comes with to build, or your hands will be black⦠this does scare me for moving purposes in the future ⦠what the heck is all over the pieces ??It also came with 3 little gardening tools, totally unexpected and I LOVE IT.I havenât put all my plants on it yet as they need repotted⦠the stand feels sturdy, but I canât say for sure yet just now sturdy it is. But Iâm hoping it fits all my plant needs because I love the look, size, and ease of assembly. For the price, I think itâs fantastic so far.

This took a little time to set up, but the instructions were clear and it was easy. Looks very nice sitting on the plant desk in front of the window, and greatly expands the working area for plants. Very satisfied with the result.

Very sturdy for an easy snap together kit. Great value. Not the most versatile as it can only be assembled as pictured, but with another kit you could fit together a very large design of your own creation. Pieces fit together easily especially with a rubber mallet. Materials seem sturdy

This was a great addition for me for my plants. The unit doesnât take long to put together at all. Directions were pretty easy to follow. The unit is sturdy. Itâs very aesthetically pleasing to look at. I caught it on a good deal so it was amazing buy for me!

I kind of freaked out when I received the box – how could all that shelving fit in such a small box?Well, it did.I had fun building the thing (it took a little over an hour), and it was well worth the effort.Remember to turn the individual shelves all in the same direction, or decide to place them with some sort of plan. Mine were placed randomly – and I am NOT going to tear it all down to rearrange things.But every time I look at the shelves I think “why didn’t I pay more attention to that while I was building??”
