Our sweet mint is grown from cuttings of a variety that comes to us from Israel, where mint is used in many dishes, from lamb to yogurt sauce. We think you’ll like the rich spearmint flavor of this variety. This plant can go a little crazy, though, so be careful or it can spread farther than you might like. For this reason many people grow it in a pot. The long stems can even be trained on a little wire trellis, especially in spots where a bit of shade causes it to stretch. Keep pinched to encourage tender new leaves.

I am ecstatic- I planted 2 of these by the main chipmunk holes and potted the other two close to my birdfeeder of sunflower seeds which was in their pathway. They never touched the plants, but as they grew bigger…I never saw them again. The plants came very, very well protected and packaged. They were healthy, vibrant, and appeared in mature enough stage to thrive. (unlike other companies) . AND SO WORTH THE PRICE !!! Thank You Walmart for giving us the option to buy Bonnie Plants !

So my review is updated to reflect the replacement and the customer care.Rotting plants arrived. It also contained a random bag of parts. I didnt know how plants were shipped, suspected I would have a disaster upon arrival. But knew obviously there had to be a method or it wouldn’t be so popular. The first pic is how they looked the very day they arrived in fully enclosed containers. The second pic when I took them out of the containers, they look so vibrant, aromatic, healthy. To this day, third pic…I think they like it here. I know i need to trim them back tomorrow. But they are easy to take care of, smell wonderful, taste great. Added bonus…mosquitos do not show up around the area these spearmint’s are planted. In addition, as a test, since I live in Florida. Its hot. It lubber season. Big, ugly, gross grasshoppers that become so big their intimidating. The younger ones are not much better, black with stripes and scary looking, owning the place they nest. Its just gross. They were eating my newly planted shrubs and I was furious. I knew they didnt like mints. I moved the planted pot of spearmint over to the shrubs where they were hanging out, and they took off. Yeah ! Thought I had a remedy. But only discovered the next day they were not far away, eating my young Hosta plants. So they just moved out of the way. See how they are? I put the spearmints back where they were since Lubbers didnt like them, they are safe. We just handpicked the lubbers off the shrubs and disposed of them. Oh sure, I could have bought 15 more spearmint plants but I wanted a variety in the garden, not working around the habits of lubbers. Im glad I purchased these spearmints. As stated, they arrived intact and exactly as promised. If I do decide I need 15 more. I will purchase here. lol

I ordered these because it said they would arrive in two days. It turned out it was eight days before they were delivered and I was worried the plants would be dried out. They were perfect! Nothing was wrong with them even after traveling for eight days. They were encased in plastic holders that acted like little greenhouses keeping them moist.I highly recommend this seller and these plants.

These plants came in plastic protectors in a sturdy box and they were all in beautiful healthy condition. They were better then the ones i purchased from a nursery last week. I am so pleased!!!!!

Alrighty these were supposed to be a two day delivery schedule and were 9 days late. Not sure what’s going on Indiana but they were stopped in transit. But the good news is the plants arrived well packaged, half way fair shape and 3/4 herbs plants were growing despite direct sun. Hands down ordering through these guys instead of Burpee. Burpees seeds half utterly failed to produce even starters.

These are healthy, strong mint plants! However, you will need to harden them off before planting outside.
