Report claims Real Madrid’s interest in Gabriel Jesus could result in Arsenal losing him this summer.

Arsenal Braces to Keep Superstar Striker Gabriel Jesus Amid Real Madrid Interest

Arsenal may have to fend off Real Madrid in their bid to retain Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian was signed by the Gunners last summer for a whopping £45 million from Manchester City, and has been a vital cog in their title challenge, with the North London side a comfortable eight points ahead of City in the Premier League.

However, Real Madrid are now believed to be eyeing the 24-year old as the ideal replacement for Karim Benzema. Los Blancos failed to pursue Jesus last season due to Spanish regulations that restrict the number of non-EU players in a squad. But now, with Vinicius Jr qualifying for a Spanish passport, Real Madrid can launch a bid for another Brazilian player.

Despite this, Arsenal won’t give up their “family” member easily. After all, Jesus has expressed his commitment to the club and has a massive contract. According to Transfermarkt, the Brazilian striker is valued at €75 million.

In other Arsenal news, the Gunners are said to be leading the race to sign Declan Rice, with sources claiming the club has already reached a contract agreement with the in-demand midfielder. Raheem Sterling, Raphinha, Rasmus Holjund, and Ivan Fresneda are also on the club’s radar. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Mykhaylo Mudryk has addressed his supposed unhappiness at Stamford Bridge, after reportedly turning down a move to Arsenal in the winter transfer window.
