Report: Liverpool’s Reasons for Halting Their Pursuit of Jude Bellingham

Liverpool Ends Pursuit of Jude Bellingham: Summer Transfer Plans Revealed

Multiple reports suggest that Liverpool’s recruitment team is shifting their focus from Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham to other targets, due to their need to spread their transfer budget across the team. The Reds are struggling this season and are expected to miss out on Champions League football next term, so they want to sign at least two midfielders in the summer. Chelsea’s Mason Mount has emerged as the new priority, as he is approaching the last year of his deal at Stamford Bridge and would be significantly cheaper than Bellingham. Additionally, Liverpool is assessing the merits of Conor Gallagher from Chelsea, Matheus Nunes from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich. Fulham’s Joao Palhinha, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo, and Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans are all listed as potential stars. Liverpool’s summer plans reportedly include targeting Josko Gvardiol, Mason Mount, and seven other players, while keeping an eye on the future by potentially pursuing “the next Luka Modric” or Benfica’s Florentino Luis, as well as 15-year-old Kendry Paez.
