Report: Manchester United Officials Approve Harry Kane’s Move Prior to Season’s Conclusion

Manchester United Set to Make Bid for Harry Kane Before Season Ends

Manchester United are reportedly in the final stages of preparing an offer for Tottenham Hotspur’s all-time leading goalscorer, Harry Kane. Despite his contract expiring in 2024, the Red Devils are keen to get in early with a move for Kane, who recently broke the all-time goal record at international level. The club seems well-prepared for the battle, with Erik ten Hag adding the striker to his shopping list, and United’s CEO, Richard Arnold, persuaded to sanction the move. Talks are set to begin before the end of the season, with United hoping to snap up the England captain for just £80 million.

While Spurs are known for driving a hard bargain, United remains confident in their ability to secure the deal. However, Tottenham have already decided against selling their forward to an English rival, which could potentially put the move in jeopardy. Nonetheless, Kane’s recent performance, with 21 goals in 28 Premier League games this season, has been outstanding, and Manchester United is determined to bring him on board.

Apart from Kane, the Manchester United shortlist includes other players such as Mohammed Kudus, Goncalo Ramos, and Victor Osimhen. The club is also pushing for big new signings, such as Osimhen for €100m, Declan Rice, and Jeremie Frimpong as a new right-back. While more outlandish theories are floating around, such as signing Kylian Mbappe and selling Marcus Rashford to Arsenal, the Glazer ownership is not guaranteed to sell up despite bids from lifelong fan, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

As the season progresses, Manchester United remains committed to their positive mentality, as underlined by Marcus Rashford. Whether they secure the deal for Kane or not, they are determined to continue capitalising on their resurgence in the transfer market, keeping their eyes on the prize.
