Report: Manchester United, Roma, and Juventus Competing for Coveted Sassuolo Star

Manchester United Joins Transfer Race for Sassuolo Midfielder Davide Frattesi

Reports suggest that Manchester United is interested in signing Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi this summer. Frattesi, who has been impressing in the Italian top-flight for the past two seasons, has attracted the attention of several top European clubs, including Juventus and Roma. While Juve sees him as a potential replacement for Adrien Rabiot, Roma could use their bargaining chip – Sassuolo’s agreement for a 30% future sale fee – to negotiate a lower price than the €30m being asked by the club. United has also been following Frattesi’s progress for a while and could make an offer in the upcoming transfer window. The dynamic central midfielder, with an eye for goal, has scored six goals in 27 Serie A games this term and earned four Azzurri caps last year in the UEFA Nations League.

Manchester United Transfer News

Manchester United is looking to make big new signings to capitalize on their resurgence in the transfer market. Victor Osimhen, valued at €100m, Declan Rice, and Jeremie Frimpong are all on the radar for the Red Devils. More outlandish theories include signing Kylian Mbappe and selling Marcus Rashford to Arsenal. However, the Glazer ownership is not guaranteed to sell despite bids from lifelong fan Sir Jim Radcliffe and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has underlined the importance of a positive mentality at Old Trafford.
