Wrexham Co-Owner Ryan Reynolds Credits Mom for His Hollywood Looks
Ryan Reynolds is known for his Hollywood hits and good looks, but did you know he owes his stunning appearance to his mum? That’s according to Wrexham Captain Ben Tozer, who revealed that Reynolds’ 77-year-old mother joined in celebrating the club’s win over Notts County.
The Easter Monday win was crucial for both clubs, who were both on 100 points and with only one automatic promotion spot available. However, Wrexham managed to beat Notts County in the end, which was a game fit for Hollywood. After the win, Reynolds and co-owner Rob McElhenney celebrated with their players. Reynolds’ mum also got involved in celebrations and even received affection from Wrexham’s stars, including Captain Tozer.
The talkSPORT Breakfast show revealed that Tozer spoke warmly of Reynolds’ mother, saying that they had a lovely hug. The host, Laura Woods, even joked that Tozer was Ryan Reynold’s mother’s favorite. However, Tozer wasn’t the only one swooning over Reynolds’ mom, who still looks stunning at the age of 77.
In fact, Tozer went on to say, “She’s not a bad looking woman at 77, it’s got to be said!” Reynolds had a hilarious response to Tozer’s claim on the talkSPORT video. Reynolds tweeted, “Get promoted, and I’ll make you my new stepdad, Tozer.”
Reynolds and McElhenney have been working hard towards getting their football club promoted to the EFL since acquiring ownership in 2020. If they continue to stay on top of the table, they will return to the Football League for the first time since 2008.
