TOP STORY: Spurs aim for Raya and Ward-Prowse signatures
Tottenham Hotspur is on the lookout for a goalkeeper in the summer, even though Fraser Forster has been competent while Hugo Lloris was injured. Spurs have added Brentford’s David Raya, with nine Premier League clean sheets, to their priority list. Southhampton’s James Ward-Prowse is another Tottenham target, and Football Insider reported on this. The team will let 36-year-old Hugo Lloris leave, who they initially signed from Lyon in 2012 once they have a new keeper.
Brentford is keen on retaining Raya, but his contract will expire in the summer of 2024, and they would rather get £30 million than lose him as a free agent. Another addition Spurs is looking to make is Southampton skipper Ward-Prowse, likely to move after their relegation. Tottenham is fond of the England international, and a summer move for him is on the cards.
