Surprising Candidate: Ex-Manchester United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Could Replace Scott Parker at Club Brugge

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Considered a Potential Managerial Candidate for Club Brugge

Club Brugge, currently looking for their third manager this season after sacking Scott Parker, is reported to have shortlisted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a potential replacement. The Belgian club has reportedly considered former Celtic manager Ronny Delia and ex-Bayern Munich assistant coach Dino Toppmoller as preferred candidates, but they will look to Solskjaer if both options are rejected.

Solskjaer, who last managed Manchester United in November 2021, has rejected several job opportunities since leaving Old Trafford. The former Red Devils striker managed the team for 168 games, winning 91 times and guiding them to second and third-placed Premier League finishes. Although he failed to win any silverware with United, he is still considered as an excellent choice due to his accomplishments with the team.

Parker, who won just two games during his brief tenure, was sacked in March. Top choice Ronny Delia has previously worked in the Jupiler Pro League, managing Standard Liege for two and a half years, as well as Manchester City sister club New York City FC.
