Chelsea’s quest for redemption in the Premier League suffered another major setback on Saturday as Aston Villa outclassed them with a two-goal victory at Stamford Bridge. Ollie Watkins and John McGinn were the heroes for Unai Emery’s side, finding the net in each half of the match.

Tuchel’s sacking in September by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, citing a lack of “shared vision” with the German, is now being viewed in a different light with the team’s current form.
