Tottenham Eyeing Julian Nagelsmann as Conte Replacement
Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, has reportedly shown interest in former Bayern Munich head coach, Julian Nagelsmann, as a potential replacement for Italian coach Antonio Conte. According to talkSPORT, Levy’s camp has already reached out to Nagelsmann’s representatives for a possible summer move to Tottenham. However, the club is still waiting for Nagelsmann to show interest before making any formal approach.
Tottenham is also considering the Brighton & Hove Albion manager, Roberto De Zerbi, as another candidate to replace Conte. The Italian coach is currently in charge of a thriving Brighton team, which recently reached the FA Cup semi-finals and still has hopes for a Champions League spot next season.
It is worth noting that former Spurs coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has expressed his interest in returning to North London. However, the Tottenham hierarchy is divided on whether to bring back the Argentine coach.
For now, Tottenham’s former assistant coach, Cristian Stellini, will temporarily replace Conte until the end of the season, with Ryan Mason as his assistant.
