Tottenham’s Managing Director Fabio Paratici Faces Extended Football Ban Worldwide

Tottenham Faces Management Crisis as Paratici is Banned Worldwide for 2.5 Years for Alleged Financial Malpractice

Tottenham Hotspur’s Managing Director, Fabio Paratici, is in hot water after FIFA extended his ban for alleged “financial malpractice” in Italy worldwide. Paratici’s 30-month ban, initially imposed by the Italian Football Association, applied only to Italian football, but the world governing body has confirmed that it will be extended globally. Paratici is among 12 officials who received bans following the ‘Prisma’ investigation, including former President Andrea Agnelli and CEO Maurizio Arrivabene, who were sanctioned for two years.

The news is a blow to the English Premier League club, with Paratici set to lead the search for a new manager following the departure of Antonio Conte. The Managing Director has denied any wrongdoing and appealed the decision, along with the 15-point deduction awarded to his former team, Juventus, earlier this year. As the ban brings Paratici’s role at Tottenham into serious question, the club faces a management crisis. More updates to follow on this developing story.
