Ben Foster makes triumphant return to Wrexham as Hollywood owners cheer on women’s team

⚽ Former England international footballer Ben Foster made a comeback to Wrexham after 18 years, with Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney cheering him on from the director’s box.

⚽ Reynolds and McElhenney had travelled to support Wrexham Women, who are set to make history in-front of a record-breaking 8,000 spectators, in a domestic women’s football match against Connah’s Quay Nomads.

⚽ Foster, who recently ended his retirement after six months, returned to the Racecourse Ground to help the team maintain their lead at the top of the National League.

⚽ The veteran goalkeeper was elated to have returned to Wrexham and dismissed any suggestions of Reynolds and McElhenney’s involvement as a reason for his decision.
